In the backdrop of the 12th anniversary of the Pakistani drama ‘Humsafar’ Siddharth Anand who helmed
Humsafar featuring Mahira Khan recalls his love for her and Fawad Khan .
Couple of days ago, the drama marked the 12th anniversary of the show which gave the pairing of the two popular stars.
And turns out, just like the fans around the world, Siddharth is also a Khirad and Ashar fan.
Mahira Khan on Sunday shared two photos on her Instagram celebrating the day. She also shared a glimpse of their upcoming movie Neelofar.
She wrote “Today.. 12 years of Humsafar.. also 12 years of all of you celebrating us. Always always grateful for the love and the patience. Love you guys so very much.
Alhumdulillah for all of you. For all of you today… a little sneak peek into the world of Neelofar.”
Humsafar is a 2011 Pakistani drama based on the novel of the same name by Farhat Ishtiaq (who also wrote the screenplay), and helmed by Sarmad Sultan Khoosat.
The story centers around two people Hussain and Khirad Ihsan forced into a marriage. They eventually find their way to each other. But they face the trials and tribulations of life.
Meanwhile, Siddharth Anand’s next is Fighter featuring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone. The film is set for January 2024 theatrical release.
