Nana Patekar recalls his close bond with Rishi Kapoor calls him mindblowing actor

Nana Patekar recalls his friendship with late Rishi Kapoor. He also says Danny Denzongpa and Anil Kapoor are his good friends in the film industry.

The loud actor recalled how Rishi Kapoor once told him that he would open a restaurant for him, adding that he is an ‘okay actor’ and calls him a mindblowing actor.

Amid his media interaction when asked about his friends in the industry, as per Nana, apart sharing a passionate bond with Rishi Kapoor, even Danny Denzongpa and Anil Kapoor.
Rishi used to visit him at his residence quite often.

Once, Rishi had visited him he with a bottle of alcohol and asked whether he didn’t have alcohol at home’. That day, he had prepared keema and roti and Neetu Kapoor did not accompany him.

He added, that he called her and threatened to never visit her house. She came home soon and we had dinner together.
He(Rishi) told him that he(Nana Patekar) is an okay actor, but an amazing chef and said he would open a restaurant for him
‘He was a wonderful person. Nana did not meet him too frequently, but he was a very good friend. He misses him now.” Nana and Rishi have worked together in the film Hum Dono.

Amid the interaction Nana Patekar also confirmed he needs a bound script for Welcome 3 and will not be part with it. On his change in priorities with respect to choosing films he replied in the negative. He said he still needs a bound script and does not like working on projects where the script keeps changing.
He added that he works for eight hours a day and no more.

Nana Patekar is now seen in Vivek Agnihotri’s The Vaccine War in which he essays the role of former ICMR director general Dr Balram Bhargava. He further added that the movie is about the Covaxin vaccine.
