Claims BJP doesn’t need votes from ‘Miya’ community for next 10 years
Himanta Biswa Sarma, CM Assam, on Sunday claimed with confidence that BJP doesn’t need the votes of ‘Miya’ people of riverine sandbar areas for the next 10 years, till they get reformed by leaving aside practices such as child marriage.
Sarma, further added that the ‘Miya’ people support him, PM Narendra Modi and the BJP, and they can continue to shout slogans in favour of them without voting for them.
