Rakesh Chaturvedi Om directorial ‘Mandali’ has found its place in the Panorama section of IFFI, Goa alongside films ‘Kantara’ and ‘The Kerala Story’.
Reportedly, a package of 25 Feature films has been selected for screening from a broad spectrum of 408 contemporary Indian feature films as a package of feature films which reflects the vibrancy and diversity of the Indian film industry.
Directed by Rakesh Chaturvedi Om, the film is touted to be based on the exploitation of Ramleela by incorporating obscene dances in small towns for financial gain which stars Rajniesh Duggall, Brijendra Kala, Aanchal Munjal, Abhishek Duhan and Vineet Kumar in prominent roles.
Director Rakesh Chaturvedi Om with pride narrates that it is a moment of pride indeed a very happy and proud moment for us. Our film has been selected for IFFI, 2023, in the category of films that are a mirror of the Indian Cinema.
He added that the crucial point of film release, makes them feel like a big win. It’s a matter of honour and privilege to get selected for the Government’s official festival. ”
As per Producer Prashant Kumar Gupta, in his statement It’s only three days away from release, and it’s an immensely joyous moment for them.
For an independent film like this, the selection for Indian Panorama Section, IFFI comes as a blessing in disguise.
The Prashant Kumar Gupta Geetika Gupta and Neetu Sabarwal, Reltic Pictures, film also features an ensemble cast like Kanwaljeet Singh, Alka Amin, Ashwath Bhatt, Saharsh Shukla and Neeraj Sood.
