This year Karva Chauth falls on 1 November and preps have already kicked-off.
Notedly, Karva Chauth which comes before Diwali, holds significance in that the married women worship Lord Shiva on this day in an attempt to pray for their husband’s longevity.
They break their fasts when moon rises. It is learnt that this year several Bollywood actresses are expected to celebrate the festival.

The actress tied the knot to married Sidharth Malhotra on February 7, 2023, in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan. It was private with the attendance restricted only family and close industry friends. This will be Kiara’s first Karva Chauth.
*Parineeti Chopra
The actress united into wedlock with AAP Leader Raghav Chadha on September 24, 2023, in Rajasthan. The wedding ceremony was intimate with family members and close colleagues in attendance.
Parineeti is expected to celebrate her first Karva Chauth this year.

Athiya entered into marital bliss with Indian cricketer KL Rahul on January 23 and it was a
close-knit ceremony at her Khandala farmhouse. The couple had dated for a couple of years. This will be her 1st Karva Chauth after marriage.
