SBI announces modified ATM Cash withdrawal rules Big News
In a new development, the State Bank Of India have modified the rules for cash withdrawal from ATM card.
Through its modified rules for ATM cash withdrawls for its customers, the State Bank of India allows to withdraw cash even without ATM card.
For this, a customer need to have SBI’s Yono App in his phone. Through this Yono app, customer can withdraw cash from SBI ATM.
However, this service will not be available at all ATMs, where a customer can withdraw cash from ATMs where Yono sticker is attached. Even if the customer has forgotten his ATM card at home, he can withdraw cash.
In Keeping pace with the trend of online payment, people do not carry cash with them. In such a situation, one can easily withdraw cash from ATM but the their problems increase further if they do not have ATM card. To end this problem, State Bank of India has linked its YONO App with UPI.
This feature is called Inter Payable Cardless Cash Withdrawal (ICCW). This feature is available on all ATMs. According to SBI, with this new feature, frauds caused by cloning of ATM cards can be prevented.
How to withdraw cash from ATM without debit card
First of all a customer has to open the Yono app in his phone.
After this he has to select the ‘Cash Withdrawal’ section.
Then enter the amount of cash he needs to withdraw.
After this he has to select his ATM. A QR code will be generated.
The customer has to scan the QR code and when done with,
UPI ID and UPI PIN.has to be entered and thereafter to click on the submit option.
Then after that cash will be withdrawn from the ATM.
