Actress Juhi Parmar hails Supreme Court order on Cracker-Free Diwali
Notedly, actress Juhi Parmar hailed the Supreme Court’s order of banning firecrackers, and saying that mother Earth needs to be treated well.
She shared a video on social media showing her daughter the recent news over the air quality in Mumbai as the two then tell their viewers to spread the message of
“No Firecrackers” this Diwali.
The Supreme Court, reportedly, on Tuesday ordered a ban on firecrackers across India, stating that the directions against the use of barium and banned chemicals in firecrackers are applicable to not just Delhi-NCR but all states.
Reacting to the Supreme Court’s decision, Juhi articulated that, she feels happy that it was on the same day she had put out the message, that our government too coincidentally put out a ban on firecrackers.”
She further added that she is not saying that we all didn’t burst crackers when we were kids but today looking at the environment, global warming and the recent news, its time for all of us to wake up and treat our Mother Earth well because our future generations will have a heavy price to pay!”
The ‘Kumkum’ actress says Diwali is her favourite time of the year.
She also makes it known that she doesn’t mean not to celebrate Diwali. For her its her most favorite festival of the year. It’s a time to spend quality time with family, enjoy the lights, the sweets, the memories, the positivity and memories left behind!
Juhi also calls out ‘Barbie’ For ‘Inappropriate Language, Sexual Connotations’, and says that she and her daughter made their exit after 15 Minutes.
She also went on to add that she was offered many OTT shows, but, there wasn’t anything exciting enough until ‘Yeh Meri Family’ came her way.
