Earlier before release of his directorial Jawan, Atlee had announced his next and that both the actors SRK and
Thalapathy Vijay agreed for it.
Atlee ditectorial made his Bollywood debut with Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan which went on to earn more than
Rs 1100 crore at the box office.
During the Chennai schedule of Jawan, Atlee celebrated his birthday with SRK and Vijay in attendance. It was the same time around when they had shot for Zinda Banda song.
The trio were seen posing for a happy picture which had made fans curious about their possible union.
Speaking to a popular Tamil TV presenter and YouTuber Atlee revealed that he called Vijay and invited him to his birthday party.
When Vijay made it to the party, Shah Rukh and Vijay discussed within themselves and then called Atlee.
Atlee is known for his expertise in storytelling, often combining commercial elements with socially relevant themes.
His films frequently feature strong emotional arcs, compelling characters, and impactful dialogues.
His career reached new heights with the release of Theri starring Vijay in 2016.
Atlee collaborated with Vijay again for Mersal in 2017 and Bigil in 2019. Both movies performed exceptionally well at the box office.
