Akshay Kumar Twinkle Khanna Preity Zinta celebrate Diwali with British PM Rishi Sunak at his official residence in London.
Earlier Akshay and Twinkle had wished their fans on social media but never shared any photos from the celebration.
Preity on Wednesday took to social media and shared photos from the celebration with caption, “What an incredible Diwali this has been. A heartfelt thank you to Prime Minister and his gracious wife Akshata Murthy for inviting her to be part of this year’s Diwali celebration at 10 Downing Street. It was an honour to celebrate Diwali with him and the people from the Hindu community in the UK.
Earlier Rishi Sunak had shared photos of his family lighting diyas outside 10 Downing Street. He captioned the photos, “A special moment for him to be celebrating Diwali with his family on the steps of No.10. Happy Diwali to everyone celebrating here in the UK and around the world!”
On the work front, Akshay Kumar was last seen in the film Mission Raniganj. The past couple of years have seen Akshay star in a string of flops at the box office. His last big hit, which had him in the lead role, was Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi released in 2021.
Akshay is now looking forward to the release of Singham Again, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and the Hindi adaptation of the Tamil hit Soorarai Pottru which featured Surya in the lead role.
