Rahul, who was reeling through a slump, made a dream comeback in the World Cup, helping the team win many important matches. His father in law Suniel Shetty, whose daughter Athiya is married to the cricketer, said that he has always been his fan.

The actor over a media interaction said that good deeds never go unnoticed, even if you try everything to run a person down. On Rahul, Suniel said that he has that fire, commitment, discipline and consistency, along with that urge to do something.
And above all, he has a large heart which is always ready to give.

He further went on to add that said he always tells his children that it’s the art of giving that teaches you the art of living.
And as for Rahul, he has always been a fan of him since he was a cricketer, long before he became a part of the Shetty family.
