Mumbai Trans Harbour Link will be a big boom
The Mumbai Transharbour Link will be of big beneficial to those commuting to Navi Mumbai regularly. Instead of long hours to reach Navi Mumbai, the Trans Harbour just takes 20 minutes.
Reportedly the bridge starts from Sewri and then cross Thane Creek north of Elephanta Island, and finally end at Chirle near Nhava Sheva. The road will be linked to the Mumbai–Pune Expressway in the east and to the under-construction Coastal Road in the west.
The Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL),has been one of the most awaited projects of the financial capital, which is now likely to open for the public on December 25. The bridge will connect Mumbai and Navi Mumbai in just 20 minutes, which currently takes hours.
Taking to X, BJP leader Varun Soni posted: “Mumbai’s iconic project ‘MTHL’, connects Mumbai with Navi Mumbai set to open for public on 25th December.”
However, no official confirmation from MMRDA (Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority) has come yet.
