Team India crush New Zealand in semi-final qualifies for finals at Ahmedabad on 19 November
Team India’s win against New Zealand in the semi-final of World Cup 2023 will go down in the history of sports.
Even as India qualified for the finals Virat Kohli broke Sachin Tendulkar’s record of maximum ODI centuries.
Many B-town celebs wended their way to the Wankhede Stadium to watch the match live. Anushka Sharma was there to cheer for husband Virat Kohli. Meanwhile, one also saw Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani, Ranbir Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit with her husband Shriram Nene at the stadium.
The highlight was the presence of Rajinikanth. Madhuri dropped pictures with Rajinikanth, Anushka Sharma and congratulated team India.
Dr Sriram Nene shared pictures from the match in a reel and expressed, “And there u have it. Congrats #TeamIndia. What a fabulous showing by our boys in Blue. Nice way to end #Shami. Ajay Devgn also congratulated the team and said that he can’t wait for Sunday. The final match of World Cup 2023 will take place on Sunday in Ahmedabad.
