Actor Mansoor Ali Khan is headlining for all the wrong reasons. He has faced criticism from the public and celebs.

Now in a new development the Actor has been arrested for hurling derogatory remarks on Trisha Krishnan Co-actor in Vijay’s “Leo”.

A video of the actor from one of his interviews has gone viral on social media, where he had said he hoped to have a rape scene in ‘Leo’ featuring Trisha Krishnan like he did in other films with actresses like Khushboo and Roja.

As per reports,Nungambakkam Police have booked the actor under Sections 354 A (sexual harassment) and 509 (word, gesture or act intended to outrage the modesty of a woman) of the Indian Penal Code. The action was taken following an order of Director-General of Police Shankar Jiwal.

Taking suo motu cognisance of the matter, the National Commission for Women directed the Tamil Nadu police to register a case against the actor.

He had purportedly said, that when he heard he was acting with Trisha, he thought there would be a bedroom scene in the film and he could carry her to the bedroom just like he did with other actresses in his earlier movies. He has done many rape scenes in a number of movies and it’s not new to him. But these guys didn’t even show Trisha to him on the sets in the midst of the Kashmir schedule.

Earlier, while reacting to Mansoor’s remark, Trisha wrote on X platform, “A recent video has come to her notice where Mansoor Ali Khan has spoken about her in a vile and disgusting manner. She strongly condemns this and finds it sexist, disrespectful, misogynistic, repulsive and in bad taste.

He can keep wishing but she is grateful never to have shared screen space with someone as pathetic as him and she ensures it never happens for the rest of her film career as well. People like him bring a bad name to mankind.

Trisha and Mansoor Ali Khan didn’t share the screen space in ‘Leo’ but they have prominent roles in the film. It is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
