Singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya shares his blissful association with SRK – slams people calling him anti-national.
It’s a well-known fact that Abhijeet Bhattacharya is one of the few Bollywood playback singers whose voice turned out to be synonymous with Shah Rukh Khan’s characters in many of his films in the midst of 1990s and early 2000s.
Notwithstanding their personal differences, the songs sung by Abhijeet for Shah Rukh’s films remained etched in the memories of music lovers.
Over his recent media interaction, Abhijeet opened up on his blissful association with Shah Rukh Khan and also slammed those people who had called the superstar anti-national.
When Abhijeet was asked on why his association with SRK slow faded away, he refrained from talking about the controversies caused by his remarks against the superstar.
However, he said that SRK is a self-made star and he resonates with the same kind of self-respect the superstar has in him.
He added they both are Scorpio. While his birthdate is October 30 SRK is November 2.born. They are of similar nature and are not filled with pride but have their self-respect.
While they did had personal differences amidst them, he tried to solve it a couple of times, but SRK is a very commercial person. He will use you, he will remove anyone from his path to success and flourishing career, nevertheless, it is very incorrect for anyone to call him an anti-national and that there is no greater nationalist than Shah Rukh Khan.
If one cares to take a look at the movies that he has made,
Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani, Swades, Asoka, how can anyone say something like this about him? Sounds ridiculous. And that too when he has promoted Hindu culture the most in his movies.
He happens to be the biggest nationalist and it was because of some people who took their commercial differences to a different angle altogether and started calling him names.
In conclusion he added, among the Khans, Shah Rukh Khan is the only nationalist with others really not have anything to do with the nation.
