Ayushmann Khurrana opens up on his cherished dream which came true for him. For Ayushmann, cinema was a part of his daily life while growing up as he grew up fascinated by the works of towering heroes like Amitabh Bachchan, Rajesh Khanna, Shah Rukh Khan, Anil Kapoor, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan. The actor reveals he is living his childhood dream of being a big screen hero.
He adds that he reminiscences being supremely excited on going to the cinema theatres every single time as he adored films transformed into idolising the heroes. He adds we used always watch movies on TV too and then rent movies as time progressed. Cinema was always an important part of his daily life.
He considers himself extremely fortunate to have created a niche for himself and proved his mettle as an actor.
He shared that the industry has been welcoming him and the audience too has given him a lot of love which he respects from the bottom of his heart. The 39-year-old actor is grateful that his parents pushed him to pursue his dream of becoming a Hindi film hero.
The love for films is what made him to pursue theatre in college. It pulled him to Mumbai where he tried to make a name, struggled for years, cried in joy when his films worked.
