Raveena Tandon shares a rare picture of Sam Maneckshaw with father Ravi Tandon

Now with the audience having gotten to know more on Field Marshall Sam Maneckshaw through the film ‘Sam Bahadur’,
Raveena Tandon, took the opportunity to share a rare picture of Field Marshall Sam Maneckshaw with her father Ravi Tandon. This was in the midst of the shoot for the Amitabh Bachchan starrer
‘Majboor’. She wrote on her post “asTwo Heroes in one Frame … One, Sam Manekshaw ,that to whom this country and its generations will forever be grateful, the Son of our Motherland ..and the Other My Hero, Ravi Tandon, A Son of the Soil, A savior for many with his social work and my inspiration for ever ”

Notedly, the Vicky Kaushal starrer ‘Sam Bahadur’ which released theatrically on December 1, won lot of acclaim among cinegoers. Whereas Vicky got a lot of love for his performance in the film, it managed to hold decently well at the box office, regardless competition from Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Animal’.

Meanwhile ‘Sam Bahadur’ the Meghna Gulzar directorial also features Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Sheikh- while Sanya plays Sam’s wife in the film, Fatima essays the role of Indira Gandhi.
