Social Media sensation actress Rakul Preet Singh Clocks 10 years in Bollywood today, 10 January 2024.
The actress who made her Hindi film debut in 2014 with romantic film ‘Yaariyan’ affirmed that it is the hard work,
perseverance, and consistency
that has placed her in her present status in the entertainment industry.
It was in 2009 that she made her debut in a Kannada film ‘Gilli’, Rakul Preet has featured in movies like ‘Keratam’, ‘Yuvan’, ‘Puthagam’, prior to making her Bollywood debut with ‘Yaariyan’, alongside Himansh Kohli. She played Saloni in the Divya Khosla Kumar directorial movie.
Now, on 10 years of the film’s theatrical release, Rakul took to her Instagram, where she enjoys 23.5 million followers, and shared snippets from the movie ‘Yaariyan’.
Along with the pictures, she penned a note, which read:
“10 years ago, when she had first set her foot in the ‘Mecca’ of Hindi films Bollywood, stepped in Bollywood, she was just a young girl with big dreams.
Rakul further shared that there is much more to accomplish and has a ton of gratitude in her heart for the work that she has done as it still feels like a dream for the younger version of her.
Rakul extended gratitude to her fans and admirers, adding that she wants to extend her love to all who helped her to achieve her dreams and turn them into a reality – 10 years of living this reality and a lifetime to go.
On the workfront, her other Hindi projects include ‘Aiyaary’, ‘De De Pyaar De’, ‘Marjaavaan’, ‘Doctor G’, ‘Thank God’, ‘Chhatriwali’ among few others.
Her next is ‘Ayalaan’, ‘Meri Patni Ka Remake’, and ‘Indian 2’ in the pipeline.
Meanwhile her marriage to Jackky Bhagnani in Goa is to be intimate two day affair with no-phone policy.
