While Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s announcement of his upcoming project ‘ Love And War’ with
powerhouse talents like Ranbir Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal and Alia Bhatt created a buzz among the fans, it also won special attention from Ranbir’s mother Neetu Kapoor.
Taking to her Instagram she shared her enthusiasm and wrote, “LOVE & WAR! Raha’s parents you both make me so proud with my all-time favorite filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Can’t wait to see your magic.
Meanwhile, with this announcement, Bhansali reunites with Ranbir after a hiatus of 17 years and his first collaboration with Vicky.
The film scheduled for Christmas 2025 theatrical release also marks Ranbir and Alia’s second collaboration with Bhansali. While Ranbir made his debut with the director’s Saawariya, Alia teamed up with Bhansali in Gangubai Kathiawadi.
This announcement also pulls off Bhansali’s casting coup that has never been seen together before.
The announcement also comes almost 2 months after Ranbir’s Animal and Vicky’s Sam Bahadur clashed their swords at the box-office.
Earlier the two had worked together in Sanju and the streaming film Love Per Square Foot.
