Akshay Oberoi, acclaimed for his role as Squadron Leader Basheer ‘Bash’ Khan in the recently released aerial action flick ‘Fighter,’ recently shared his experience and relationship with cousin Vivek Oberoi.

In the midst of basking over the positive reviews for his performance in “Fighter”,Akshay revealed amidst a media interaction that he never anticipated any professional assistance from Vivek Oberoi or Suresh Oberoi.

Akshay had worked with Vivek in ‘Inside Edge.’ Opening up on his career, he revealed that had he received any professional help from Vivek or his father Suresh Oberoi, his career would have skyrocketed.

Akshay Kumar lauded ‘Fighter’ director Siddharth Anand, particularly heaping praises on a crucial scene suggested by the director. Siddharth Anand’s insightful guidance led Akshay to execute the scene in a specific manner, and later, he recognized the scene’s profound significance.

Akshay further expressed gratitude for being part of a major commercial movie and acknowledged the emotional connection for the audiences the film generated post-interval.
