(MNS) sternly cautioned
Bollywood against return of Pakistani singer Atif Aslam.
The singer is reportedly gearing up to return to Hindi cinema after 7 long years with a film titled Love Story of 90s.
A report reveals that Atif will be singing a romantic number, which will coincide with the title of the film.
Notedly, Atif Aslam fans are
athirst for his return to Hindi cinema but the singer’s return has also raised the political temperature in India.
According to MNS cinema wing president Ameya Khopkar those gearing up to bring Aslam here based on a court verdict “need to be shown their place.
Adding that it’s unfortunate that we need to repeat ourselves, yet let me make it clear once again.
He further went on to add that ‘Pakistani artists will not be tolerated here. Never. This was and will remain the stand of MNS. Not just Bollywood.
He challenges the industries of any language in India to have any Paki artists in their projects.
Earlier too Ameya Khopkar had objected to the release of a Pakistani film titled
The Legend of Maula Jatt in India.
As per producers of Love Story of 90s, Haresh Sangani and Dharmesh Sangani it is a very reassuring thing for Atif Aslam to return after 7 years.
He had rendered the first song Love Story of 90s. Atif Aslam’s fans will be very thrilled.
The 40-year-old singer embarked on his musical journey in 2003 with the popular band named ‘Jal’ and has also as rendered several popular Bollywood tracks including Pehli Nazar Mein, Baakhuda Tumhi Ho, Tu Jaane Na, Jeena Jeena, Main Rang Sharbaton Ka, among many others.
