Renowned filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi ropes in Sunny Deol and Aamir Khan together in his much-anticipated Hindi film ‘Lahore, 1947’ touted to be one of the much-anticipated films of Bollywood. And its for the first time that the two actors and the renowned filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi will be working together.

Explaining on the collaboration for the film, director Rajkumar Santoshi shares, that “Lahore 1947 is a very special film, emotionally attached and very important project in his career and a reunion with the most talented people. He had worked with Aamir in ‘Andaz Apna Apna’ and this time he is collaborating as a producer.

On the other hand, with Sunny Deol, they made the most loved films like ‘Ghayal,’ ‘Damini,’ and ‘Ghatak.’”
For Rajkumar Santoshi the film is truly the best dream team and rare to come together.

Further, elaborating into the music of the movie, Santoshi mentions that for a film of this magnitude, he can’t think of anyone else than A.R. Rahman as a music composer, since being one of the top composers in the world as of now.

For many years he and Javed Akhtar have shared a very good bond and having him for this project as a lyricist is a delight.

With all the positivity and full energy, the great team of
‘Lahore in 1947’, Rajkumar Santoshi hopes that the camera will roll very soon.

Meanwhile, Santoshi feels much excited given that all his favourite creators are working on this movie.
