Singer-Music Composer Shankar Mahadevan expresses indebtedness after band Shaktis big Grammy 2024 win
Singer and Music Composer Shankar Mahadevan has owed a debt of gratitude and penned an heartfelt note after band ‘Shakti’s Best Global Music Album award at the Grammys 2024.
He went on to add that this is the moment from which he can say that dreams do come true.
Taking to his Instgram, Mahadevan shared a string of pictures from Grammy 2024 and saying that it was beyond his imagination that a band from where he learnt his music would eventually win a Grammy.
This is the moment from which he can easily say that dreams do come true. Shakti was a dream which came true! Thank you Almighty for making this happen! It’s truly ‘THIS MOMENT’ ”
As soon as Mahadevan dropped the pictures, several celebrities from the industry started reacting to the post. Shilpa Shetty while commenting to the post, wrote, “Congratulations Well deserved ..Sooo happy for you , great achievement for the country too”. The leading actress of TV Amruta Khanvilkar wrote, “Many many congratulations sir n thankyou for bringing this honour to our country”. “Well deserved @shankar.mahadevan !! India is proud!!, “ wrote Vishal Dadlani.
Farhan Akhtar also reacted to the post and wrote, “Congratulations Shankar .. here’s to first of many ..”. “Bhai…. God’s blessed you for your goodness and your talent… Lots of love and prayers,” wrote Sonu Nigam
In his acceptance speech, Mahadevan said thanked the boys, God, family, friends, and India. Proud of India… Last but not the least, he dedicated the award to his wife whom every note of his music is dedicated to. The musician’s speech evoked a loud cheer from the crowd.
