FM Nirmala Sitharaman’s signature- Police file FIR
In a most sbocking incident an unidentified man forges the signature of Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to write a letter to the Ministry of Home Affairs under a false pretext on Wednesday. The accused is on the run.
As per Officers they have lodged a case of impersonation and forgery.
According to FIR in the case,
B N Bhaskar, Additional Private Secretary to the Minister of Finance and Corporate Affairs, the letter on a forged letterhead of the Union FM with a forged signature contains contents that could potentially cause harm, mislead or manipulate government process.
A senior officer points out that such activities not only compromise the integrity of the individuals involved but also pose a threat to the overall security and functioning of the government institutions.
Meanwhile, police have arrested a man for allegedly trying to enter the Home Ministry office, using a fake identity card, purportedly to defraud people. According to officers, the accused, Aditya Pratap Singh, was intercepted by security staff at the entrance of the premises. “A fake ID card with a forged MHA header has been recovered from him
A Special Cell team was called to the spot to question Singh. Tne officer further adds that terror angles were probed and no such facts have emerged… prima facie, it seems he was trying to enter the Home Ministry premises in a bid to defraud people by posing as a senior IAS officer.
