Budget process for 2024-25 complete after Parliament approved interim budget
After the presentarion of the interim budget by the Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on February 8, and approved by the Parliament, now the Budget process for 2024-25 is complete.
The bills were returned to Lok Sabha following Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman’s response to the discussion.
On Wednesday, the Lok Sabha passed these bills.
The Upper House also returned appropriation legislation for the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
