For the glittering special event, she chose to wear a white Sabyasachi saree.
Notedly, Deepika represented India at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) Awards, which took place in London’s Royal Festival Hall on February 18.
She presented the award for ‘Best Film Not In The English Language’. Her presenter speech and backstage photos went viral on social media and fans can’t stop raving about her Sabyasachi look.
For the unversed, ‘Oppenheimer’ bagged seven trophies at BAFTA 2024, while ‘Poor Things’ bagged five awards. ‘Barbie’ was snubbed yet again.

Director Jonathan Glazer won the award for ‘Best Film Not In The English Language’ for his film, ‘The Zone of Interest’.
While presenting the award,
Deepika can be heard saying, “The incredible stories nominated in this category depict real and imagined worlds that stay with us long after the credits roll. From the Alps to the Andes, Southern Poland to Seoul, the nominees are…and the BAFTA goes to The Zone Of Interest.”
It is to be noted that Deepika was also one of the presenters at Oscars 2023. She introduced ‘RRR’s ‘Naatu Naatu’. The song won the Best Original Song. Composer MM Keeravaani and lyricist Chandrabose made India proud by bagging the Oscars.
Coming back to BAFTA 2024, Deepika Padukone made a style statement at the award ceremony. Some of her gorgeous pictures from the backstage have found their way to the Internet, and she looks every bit stunning.
On the work front, Deepika Padukone will be seen next in director Nag Ashwin’s ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. She will share screen space with Prabhas, Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan in the film. The futuristic sci-fi flick will hit theatres on May 9, 2024.
