B’town sensation Janhvi Kapoor breathlessly awaits the release of her debut Telugu film `Devara`. In this pan-Indian film she shares screen space with Jr NTR and Saif Ali Khan.

Infact, Janhvi has always articulated her cherished interest in working in South cinema especially considering her mother Sridevi`s successful career in the South.

As of now, Janhvi`s father Boney Kapoor confirms the actress having signed a film opposite Ram Charan.
The film is an `Uppena` fame Buchi Babu Sana’s directorial.

In the midst of his recent media interaction, Boney Kapoor shared that daughter Janhvi has already shot for a film with Jr NTR and she is loving every bit of the day she spends on sets.

Very soon, she will start a film with Ram Charan too. These two boys are doing very well. She has been watching a lot of Telugu films, and feels blessed to work with them. Hopefully, the films will work, and she will get more work. She will also act with Suriya soon adding that with Sridevi having acted in multiple languages, he hopes that his daughter does the same.

Boney also revealed that he wanted to buy a house in Hyderabad adding that he has shot 12 of his films in Hyderabad, but, back then it was a growing city. When he returned after a few years, the entire city had transformed.
He further revealed that he used to drive himself around, and now he needs someone local to guide him. He wanted to buy a house in Hyderabad for Sridevi because she worked a lot there. He reminiscences that he and Sridevi used to relish a lot of Andhra food whenever they were in Hyderabad.
However, now he doesn’t have the heart to.

‘Devara` marks Janhvi`s first non-Hindi film. Recently, Janhvi attended a session at the Agenda AajTak 2023, where she was asked on wanting to work with Jr NTR.

Janhvi revealed that the story is also related to mumma. She and Jr. NTR sir’s grandfather did a lot of movies together and were quite an iconic pair and mumma would tell a lot of stories working with him and she was very excited. She also felt that her life is a full circle now. So, yeah she was very excited and it feels good.

The Koratala Siva’s directorial ‘Devara Part 1’ unfolds in two parts. The magnum opus is produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts, and presented by Nandamuri Kalyan Ram. The film’s music is orchestrated by Anirudh Ravichander, and the cinematography is handled by
R Rathnavelu. The film’s BGM song titled ‘All Hail The Tiger’ also went viral on social media, leaving fans even more excited for the film. The film releases in theatres on October 10, 2024.
