A source reveals thìòoòò00nd Yahoo now states that Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone’s Fighter could be sold to an OTT giant for Rs 150 crore.

It’s not clear as to which streaming platform Hrithik Roshan’s film will grab, a report says it could be a deal of around Rs 150 crore, and the platform could be Netflix.

Siddharth Anand-directorial aerial-action thriller film Fighter might have crossed the Rs 200-crore mark in India, grossing more than Rs 300 crore globally.

But it looks like that the film didn’t click with the larger section of the audience.

Having carried a lot of expectations, viewers had a feeling that the film did not live up to the expectations, thus explaining the downward spiral of the film in its third week now.

Featuring Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor in the lead roles, Fighter shows them in the role of Indian Air Force officers, drawing inspiration from the true story of historic events that took place in 2019.

Reportably, defending the collections saying that 90% of our country’s population hasn’t flown in planes or been to the airport, so the makers can’t expect them to know what’s happening in the air.

Days following repetitive comparisons amidst Fighter and the Hollywood film, director Siddharth Anand recently broke his silence on the same, calling it nothing but “social media chatter” which only gains a lot of negativity.

We need to watch our films with more respect’Sidharth added.

This is not the first time that the director, who also has films like War and Pathaan to his credit has spoken about the comparisons with Top Gun films.
