PM Modi condoles Legendary Ghazal singer Pankaj Udhas on his demise
Pankaj Udhas was blessed with a voice and talent to render ghazals in his own inimitable style which won the hearts of the Ghazal lovers. He has enthralled the audience both at home and abroad in his concerts not only ghazals but film songs too.
Taking to his X account PM Modi wrote – “We mourn the grave loss of Pankaj Udhas Ji, whose singing conveyed a range of emotions and whose Ghazals spoke directly to the soul. He was a beacon of Indian music, whose melodies transcended generations.
I recall my various interactions with him over the years. His departure leaves a void in the music world that can never be filled. Condolences to his family and admirers. Om Shanti.”
