Kareena Kapoor extols Anant Ambani for Vantara initiative: ‘
Kareena Kapoor has heaped praises on Anant Ambani after he opened up on his Vantara initiative. The ‘Crew’ star Kareena through her Instagram post praised him and also spoke on an elephant rescued through this initiative.
Kareena in her instagram wrote that Vantara has rescued over 200 elephants and thousands of other animals, reptiles, and birds, committing to animal welfare. Bravo, Anant and team, for the amazing initiative
embarked upon.
Kareena went on to share a storyof an elephant Tarzan, whose vision got restored by performing a cataract surgery through this initiative.
She further added that this is just one of the many amazing stories taking place at Vantara, an initiative by the Reliance Foundation that diligently rescues, treats, and restores injured, neglected, and endangered animals both domestically and globally.
In the midst of his interaction with the mediaI, Anant Ambani elaborated on Vantara saying his vision is that at Vantara in Jamnagar, we would like to be the world’s most advanced wildlife institute and would also like to conserve and breed critically endangered species and release them back in the habitat. Because a lot of species, even today, are going extinct.
He further added, in Hindi, there’s a saying Chidiyaghar. It’s not a Chidiya Sevalaya, but they have created it as a Sevalaya. And it’s an area where they only rehabilitate, rescue, preserve, conserve and breed the endangered species. It’s not a zoo. It’s not for any entertainment.
