Vaibhav Gupta, the Kanpur based singer, emerged as the winner of ‘Indian Idol 14’
He lifted the trophy and also took home cash prize of Rs 25 lakh
Shubhadeep Das was the first runner-up
The thrilling grand finale episode of ‘Indian Idol 14’ was held on Sunday, March 3.
Declared as the first and second runner up respectively, Shubhadeep Das Chowdhury and Piyush Panwar were bestowed with a trophy and a cheque of Rs 5 lakh each. Meanwhile, Ananya Pal was declared as the third runner-up. She received a cheque of Rs 3 lakh.
It was thrilling to watch Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghoshal, Neena Kakar, Kumar Sanu and Vishal Dadlani sing on the stage. Not to forget the musicians were at their best and what added color to the Grand Finale was the veteran Music Composer Pyarelal.
