Markedly, Yami Gautam-starrer Article 370 is at a steady pace at the box office. The audience showed their likeness for the film since day one. Reports reveal that Article 370 has crossed the Rs 50 crore mark in India and is making a rapid movement towards the Rs 100 crore mark worldwide.
Yami who has been heaped praises from critics and audiences alike, recently took a pot shot at Indian award shows and also applauded Cillian Murphy for bagging Oscars.
Taking to her X(formerly Twitter) handle, Yami Gautam on Monday penned that having no belief in any of the current fake “filmy” awards, since the last few years, she stopped attending them but today she is feeling really happy for an extraordinary actor who stands for patience, resilience & so many more emotions.

Interestingly” Article 370 is making waves not only in the country but also in countries across the seven seas.
Coming to worldwide earnings, the film has so far earned
Rs 77.07 crore worldwide, and very soon, enter the Rs 100 crore club. The film was made on a budget of Rs 20 crore, including production and advertising costs.
This National Award-winning Aditya Jambhale directorial political drama centres around the most controversial revocation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir. The film features Yami Gautam in the lead role as Zooni Haksar, an intelligence agent. Other actors include Priyamani, Divya Seth Shah, Vaibhav Tatwawadi, Arun Govil, Kiran Karmarkar and
Raj Zutshi.
Jyoti Deshpande, Aditya Dhar, and Lokesh Dhar jointly back the film produced under the banner of Jio Studios and B62 Studios. It is scripted by Aditya Dhar.
Yami Gautam recently went live on social media to celebrate the success of Article 370 and praises heaped on her for her performance. The actress had an interaction session with the fans regarding her film and amidst the live session, one of the fans hailed her performance in the comment box and wrote, “National award toh pakkaaa.”

Responding to the fan’s comment, Yami said that she keeps reading such kinds of comments daily, but there is nothing like this on her mind and the only thing was that she wanted to do justice to the real-life character she was emoting. She has not thought of any awards, but feels happy that her fans and the audiences are happy with her work and the film, and this is her only reward.
On the work front, Yami next will be seen in the upcoming film Dhoom Dhaam.
