Twitter deletes Kangana Ranaut’s Bollywood ‘hate speech’ posts
Notedly, Micro-blogging site Twitter has initiated stringent strict action against actress Kangana Ranaut and deleted her tweets over violation of rules.
Reportedly, some of Kangana’s posts rcontained ‘hate speeches’. Two of the tweets have been pulled down since Thursday morning.
In a statement, the micro-blogging site has initiated action on Tweets that violated Twitter Rules in line with their range of enforcement options.
This move comes a day after the actress blasted American singer Rihanna over her posts supporting the ongoing farmers’ protests in India.
In the past many tweets of the actress have also been suspended.
On Wednesay, Manjit Singh GK, former President of Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee (DSGMC) had sent a legal notice to Twitter asking to take down actor Kangana Ranaut’s ‘defamatory tweet’ against the Sikh Community.
Her complaint was over “maligning and tarnishing”
the image of farmers and the entire Sikh community.
The legal notice further added that Kangana Ranaut was using her ‘fan following’ to try and defame the farmers and the Sikh community associated with Farmers’ protest and “declared them anti-national by claiming them to be terrorists trying to weaken the strength and protection the country.
