Actor Prithviraj Sukumaran, who recently seen in the Malayalam survival drama Aadujeevitham, opened up featuring in Mani Ratnam’s Raavanan. The film’s Hindi version was shot simultaneously with the Tamil version, which starred Vikram, Aishwarya Bachchan and Prithviraj in the lead roles.

In an interview with Mashable, the actor said that it was like a big certificate of approval for him.was what 24 or 25 something when Mani offered him that film and in which he played one of the central protagonists in the film.

He remembers remember he was on set on day one and most of the crew were from Hindi because it was also being shot in Hindi.

All of them obviously knew who Aishwarya Rai was, all of them knew Abhishek Bachchan, all of them knew Vikram, the superstar. None of them knew who this boy was. They were like, and he could hear them in hush, saying, ‘I don’t know, must be good because Mani has cast him.

On the workfront, Prithviraj will be seen next as the antagonist in Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff’s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. The film releases on
April 10.
