Unquestionably, Arshad Warsi is one of the finest actors in the Indian film industry. Blessed with impeccable acting skills, he always manages to impress the audience.
With his hidden talent, the actor managed to carve a niche for himself as an actor to reckon with. But, not many know that it was Jaya Bachchan who gave him a big break in the midst of ‘Tere Mere Sapne’. The Joy Augustine’s directorial was produced by ABCL(Amitabh Bachchan Corporation Limited)
Elaborating on his debut, Arshad shared that he had sent his inferior picture, yet Jaya selected him for a crucial part in the movie.
Amidst the Long Drive with Mr. Faisu’, show, Arshad recalled getting selected for the film even after sending inferior pictures he was selected. That was incredible of Jaya Bachchan.After seeing his pictures, she ensured that this guy can act. But in reality, he had never acted before. She did not even take his screen test or auditioned him, but just on the sight of the pictures she found him to be worthy for the role. But it was unbelievable for the actor why she took him for the film. He had no money for making good pictures.
Arshad, further said that she explained to him that each and every picture that he had sent had different emotions and expressions. Arshad, in conversation quoted, it was after a long time, when he finally knew her as a person, he asked her, Jaya ji tell me the truth. Why did she cast him in the film to which she said, there were 36 photos, and in all the pictures he had different expressions and that he wasn’t frightened of the camera at all, and was not interested in impressing anyone also.’
It was earlier in an interview wi Arshad opened up about not being interested in becoming an actor. He said, he had never thought of being an actor. It was quite a surprise for him.
He gave it a shot, and a friend clicked a few amateurish photographs. The photographs happened to go to Jaya Bachchan who.saw it, liked it and signed him.
On the work front, Arshad Warsi was last seen in âBachchhan Paandey’ alongside Kriti Sanon and Akshay Kumar.
