In a recent conversation, Vidya Balan has looked back at her old days and shed light on her idea of nepotism and the struggles she faced. She went on to add that ‘Kissi Ki Baap Ki Industry Nahi Hai’.

She further went on to articulate that Nepotism or no nepotism, she is here.The industry doesn’t belong to anybody’s father, otherwise, all the star kids would have been successful today.
Elaborating further, Vidya added that she had been a lone ranger and that she had been content pursuing her own interests.
She also expressed that there were times when she thought having the support of specific individuals might have led to kinder treatment amidst certain periods. However, she believes that, when it comes to opportunities, no one has been able to deprive her of what she deserves.
For someone who doesn’t have her roots in the industry, Vidya has come a long way and has carved her own niche, but the road to success wasn’t easy for her.
Vidya also revealed she is encountering a ‘witch-hunt’ in Bollywood because of a ‘personal issue’
Meanwhile, the much-awaited trailer of ‘Do Aur Do Pyaar’, was released on social media. The captivating trailer of the movie depicted a married couple, Vidya and Pratik, facing challenges in their relationship and eventually engaging in an extramarital affair with characters portrayed by Sendhil and Ileana. Shirsha Guha Thakurta directed the film.
Apart from this, Vidya will also be seen in Kartik Aaryan and Triptii Dimri-starrer ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’.
