Amidst a recent interview for the franchise, Jos Buttler’s teammate Trent Boult asked him, “One Bollywood actor who would play your biopic?” Buttler promptly responded with “Shah Rukh Khan.”
Boult added, “Yeah, they love Shah Rukh,” echoing Buttler’s sentiment.
On April 16, Shah Rukh Khan’s IPL team, the Kolkata Knight Riders, played against the Rajasthan Royals at Eden Gardens stadium in Kolkata.
Regardless Shah Rukh’s presence and support for KKR, they faced defeat as RR emerged victorious by two wickets. Jos Buttler’s remarkable century, scoring 107 runs off 60 balls, led RR to victory.
Internet thinks Shah Rukh Khan was ‘very sad’ following KKR’s defeat.
After the match, Shah Rukh Khan walked up the field to uplift his players’ spirits, sharing a heartwarming moment with Jos Buttler.
