Actress Raushni Srivastava talks about her film on Mental abuse.
Actress Raushni Srivastava articulates that Mental abuse is a serious issue. People bully others and act like it’s a joke. People use abusive words which have a chilling effect; they have no idea how it affects one’s self esteem. Abusers manipulate to their advantage. Statistics show that many people suffer from mental health issues because they endure that mental abuse silently and don’t object.
The film “Kalika”—which stars Raushni Srivastava, Raja Guru, and Saarrh Kkashyap—tackles the topic of mental abuse. Raushni, Raja, and Saarrh have appeared in TV shows, short films, and short features. For “Kalika,” they came together to work on this serious issue. The film highlights the sensitive issue of mental abuse as a cause of anxiety, fear, and OCD. “It’s an experimental film and I hope it will find its place,” Raushni states.
As of now, the film is in post production. Raushni says, “We are praying to God that ‘Kalika’ does well upon release.”
