Rajan Shahi Producer of
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has given an explosive interview to a TV channel on his show, and the exit of Shehzada Dhami and Pratiksha Honmukhe.
He spoke on how many producers warned him against casting Shehzada Dhami but he went ahead with his choice.
He also said that the channel wanted the male lead to be replaced just after four weeks. Given that Dhami has not said a word in his defence so far has left people confused over the entire thing. Rajan Shahi also goes on to reveal his inspiration behind being a no-nonsense producer.
As per Rajan Shahi Ekta Kapoor sent him a note where she said she understood his dilemma and why he might have taken such a decision. He said that he considers Ekta Kapoor his inspiration and that she is the one who has built the Indian TV industry. As a producer there is a certain limit to which one can tolerate things. Many producers sent him texts lauding his decision. He also said that more than producers actors have stood by him. Rajan Shahi also said about the rumoured no-dating clause
He had not imposed any kind of no-dating clause in his contract. He said he would like people to bring contracts and show him where it was written.
Rajan Shahi further added that he doesn’t run dictatorships on his shows like Anupamaa and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.
So, far Shehzada Dhami has not made any comments on this. There are rumours that he might do a show for Colors or be a part of Bigg Boss OTT 3.
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai is the longest-running Indian daily soap. It stars Samridhii Shukla, Garvita Sadhwani, Rohit Purohit, Shruti Ulfat, Niyati Joshi and Sachin Tyagi in main leads.
