Rekha took to acting under pressure to support family

B’town’s stunning Diva, Rekha embarked on a film career as she was forced by mother Pushpavalli to leave school and take up acting to support the family. She faced the arc lights and camera when she was just 13.

Prior to making her debut in Bollywood, she featured in two Telugu and one Kannada movie
despite not having pleasant beginnings in the Hindi film industry.

While sharing her interview with a news channel, she made it clear that she never wanted to be an actor. Many actors will say that it was their dream to become an actor, but not for her. She was beaten for it. Even as of today, she looks young and can do justice to the character she is offered .
