News comes to light Tabu is no longer a part of Luv EabDe De Pyaar De 2.
In fact her separation from the errant Ajay Devgn was the highlight of the first part of hit-filmmaker Luv Ranjan’s De De Pyaar De Her moving on in life with her two kids and the whole awkwardness of Ajay trying to introduce the young love of his life, Rakul Preet Singh, to his wife, kids and extended family made this romcom a breezy entertainer.
With Tabu throwing in a rock-solid performance of the mature wife viewing her infidel husband’s antics with amusement and a tinge of envy, the film had many LOL moments.
When Tabu enters the climax to get her estranged and erring husband, Ajay to reunite with his new love, Rakul, the film becomes relatable.
As the makers get ready to start shooting for part 2 of DDPD in UK this July, everyone wonders if Tabu join tthe cast.
A source close to the project says, “Tabu is not a part of the cast. Some of the posters of the previous part are being re-circulated. Hence there is an impression that the two-time National Award winner will appear in the sequel. But this is not the case, as of today.’’
A report indicated that Anil Kapoor will reportedly play Rakul’s father in the sequel. Assumptions go that this time a track could reportedly be about Ajay (three-tims lNational-Award-winning actor) trying to win Anil over to give his nod to his daughter’s union with himself, especially considering the huge age gap between their screen characters.
