Actress Ileana clarified that her decision to do “Barfi” was driven by her love for the unique story and not a deliberate shift away from South Indian cinema.
However, a misconception arose that she was solely focusing on Bollywood, resulting in a significant decrease in offers from the South.
While acknowledging that she became more selective over her projects after “Barfi,” Ileana expressed a sense of being
underrated in the industry. Despite her talent and diverse filmography, she feels that much of her work has gone unnoticed.
