Anupam Kher reacts to Ratna Pathak Shah terming “Acting Schools A Shop’’

There has been a burgeoning
confabulation amidst Naseeruddin Shah, Ratna Phatak Shah and Anupam Kher.

Anupam Kher slammed Ratna for her comments over acting schools being a business. Anupam went on to add that people sometimes do things out of bitterness and also called into question Ratna and Naseeruddin’s stint at the National School Of Drama.

He doesn’t have to react. It’s her point of view. Anupam was also reading an interview of Main Naseeruddin Shah and he was also saying same thing. He went on to question, he thinks both Naseeruddin and Ratna are from the National School of Drama. Can they say that the National School of Drama is a shop?”

Kher wondered if the comment was made out of bitterness. Out of bitterness people say many things. Sometimes people philosophically too say many things.

Anupam added that it is not important for him to sort of justify. What they think, they think. It’s a shop. It’s perfectly alright.” Anupam runs an acting school.

At this point, it is no secret that Anupam, Nasseruddin, and Ratna Shah disagree with each other’s views and opinions in the past.

Reflecting on the same, Anupam recalled that, he looks at the goodness in people. Even the worst person will have a good side. He still remembers when he took first car out for a drive, Naseer saw him and showed much warmth,” he recalled. The actor continued, “He said, ‘Wow, Anupam, you finally bought a car.’ He can’t forget the warmth he showed towards hin. For me, the gesture is important. He may say anything against me. But that is his genuine reaction, which I will always think of and remember”.

On the work front, Anupam Kher was the next star in Metro In Dino, and Ratna Pathak Shah was last seen in the movie Dhak Dhak.
