KKR Mentor Gautam Gambhirs SRK leak amid KL Rahul-Sanjiv Goenka episode

The connect amidst Gautam Gambhir and Kolkata Knight Riders h(KKR) is a well-known fact throughout the years.

The ex-Indian cricket team batter was the most successful captain in the franchise’s history as he led them to two Indian Premier League (IPL) titles.

Notedly, in 2024, he stages a comeback to the side as the mentor. Another mythical
collaboration is that of Gambhir and team owner Shah Rukh Khan. Although, the heated conversation amidst Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) team owner Sanjiv Goenka and skipper KL Rahul is prominently headlining Gambhir heaped praises on the B’town’s King Khan saying that for him, inarguably,SRK is the finest owner he has ever worked with. Gambhir was the team mentor at LSG in 2022 and 2023.

Gambir further went on to add that he shares a cordial bond with him. The reason is not merely that he is humble, he is pretty grounded.

Adding further that Shah Rukh Khan has ever intruded in cricketing matters and it is a very big thing for someone like him (Gambir) because you get the freedom of decision-making. You have the freedom and trust that whatever decision he (Gambir) takes, he is aware that he isn’t going to back him.

“And more significantly
that’s why they have got the results as well. His bond with SRK is super just not now but ever since he (Gambir) first joined KKR in 2011.

SRK is an emotion, for Gambir, KKR is an emotion as well. That’s why he feels that when any relationship starts on trust, that trust then goes a long way.

He went on to add that it’s the trust amid them cause, he knows he will never involve himself in cricketing matters and he knows that any decision Gambir takes will be in the best interests of the team and not for anything else.
