Shah Rukh Khan admitted to hospital in Ahmedabad after heatstroke amidst KKR match
Reportedly, Shah Rukh Khan, co-owner of KKR was admitted to KD hospital in Ahmedabad after an heatstroke amidst the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) vs Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) match at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
SRK was accompanied by daughter Suhana and son AbRam, Manager Pooja Dadlani,Juhi Chawla and Jay Mehta, KKR’s co-owners, Suhana’s close friends Ananya Panday, Shanaya Kapoor, Navya Nanda, and Agastya Nanda at the first IPL playoff match when his health deteriorated following rise in temperatures.
After foremost treatment, he was discharged. He was fine after the match when he reached the ITC Narmada Hotel but his condition worsened in the morning and was taken to the hospital around 1 pm. He is stable now and has been advised by doctors to take complete rest.
Kolkata Knight Riders’ (KKR) brilliant display against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in Qualifier 1 of IPL 2024 left every fan of the “team in purple” extremely happy. Like others, co-owner Shah Rukh Khan’s joy knew no bounds as he witnessed his team entering the finals live from the stands.
After the match, SRK, Suhana, and AbRam greeted the spectators at the Narendra Modi Stadium. SRK, not only greeted the audience with his folded hands but also captivated them with his signature pose.
Notedly, while greeting the fans, SRK inadvertently interrupted a broadcast show, being shot live on the ground. SRK then quickly apologised to former India cricketers Suresh Raina, Aakash Chopra, and Parthiv Patel busy conducting the post-match show. Following an accidental bump into them, SRK gave all of them a tight hug.
On the work front, the actor was last seen in ‘Dunki’, which focused on the issue of immigration. He will be seen sharing screen space with Salman Khan in ‘Tiger vs Pathaan’. The film will reportedly have Tiger (Salman) locking horns with Pathaan, played by Shah Rukh Khan.
It will mark their full-fledged collaboration after ‘Karan Arjun’.
