Family Court issues non-bailable warrant against actor Prithviraj
A family court in Vijayawada on Wednesday has issued a non-bailable warrant againstTollywood actor Prithviraj, acknowledged for his role in ’30 years industry’. A case was filed by his wife Balireddy Srilakshmi demanding alimony.
In the past, the court asked Prithviraj to pay his wife Balireddy Srilakshmi Rs 8 lakh per month but he challenged it in the High Court.
In a big relief, the High Court ordered Prithviraj to pay
Rs 22,000 per month and clear all outstanding dues since 2017.
However, failure to obey the High Court orders his wife was left with no option but to file a petition in the family court.
According to the petition Prithviraj did not appear in court and only issued a public notice in a newspaper regarding the case details.
The duo got married in 1984 and have a son and daughter.
As per Srilakshmi, her family members extended support to Prithviraj in meeting his expenses when he travelled to Hyderabad and Chennai for opportunity in films. Notwithstanding this, she said Prithviraj sent her out from his house on April 5, 2016.
