SRK Salman Aamir Khan cost conscious in Bollywood
Director Anurag Kashyap as of now is hitting the headlines for
spilling the beans on starry tantrums.
Now he articulates over his
uncouth statement on Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, and Salman Khan who take the route of profit-sharing and don’t demand whopping fees.
Many must be aware that Bollywood projects are presently proving a debacle at the box-office even with ensemble cast. Producers Distributors and Exhibitors are also in financial mess with big budget films with big stars are not running as expected.
Today, most of the big actors are demanding whopping fees with perks placing the film makers in a delirious situation.
NiwThis is due to the stars demanding exorbitant
Fees and perks to cite few names such as Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, and Akshay Kumar, among others, come at an expensive cost. On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Aamir Khan take the route of profit-sharing.
and never charge anything.
In his recent media interaction Anurag Kashyap claimed that Shahrukh Khan Salman Khan and Aamir Khan are the much cost-conscious and went on to add that he doesn’t work with ‘big’ stars.
Adding further he said that one would agree with higher risks come higher benefits. To cite an example, in 2023 Shah Rukh Khan gave three big hits with Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki.
His action oriented film with Siddharth Anand made a whopping 543.22 crores. The Atlee directorial garnered 640.42 crores, while the comedy dramedy with Rajkumar Hirani grossed 232 crores. One can imagine the kind of money SRK would have amassed in profits.
Likewise Salman Khan and Aamir Khan have been sharing profits for their big-budget films for years.
On the professional front, Anurag Kashyap is all set for his “Bad Cop” release. He will be acting in the web series, that also featuring Gulshan Devaiah. It premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on June 21, 2024.
