Isha Koppikar shares her dismaying experience in B’wood’s casting couch
Veteran actress Isha Koppikar recently opened up on her
dismaying experience she encountered in Bollywood’s infamous casting early on in her acting career in the midst of her recent media interaction.
The actress turned impassioned while discussing incidents of indecorous
behavior, including an A-list actor requesting a private meeting sans her entourage, citing rumors on him and declined the request. She articulated in Hindi that she was just 22 or 23 years old then.
She further delineated
another incident where a secretary and an actor caught up with her when she 18
implicating that being “friendly” with an actor was mandatory for work.
Koppikar also pointed out how some industry figures would touch her indecorously while pressuring her to be friendly with leading actors.
