The audience and fans accepted Rimi Sen as an exceptionally talented actress after watching her movies Hungama, Baghban, Dhoom, Garam Masala, Kyon Ki, Golmaal: Fun Unlimited, etc. Her last Hindi film was big Hindi movie in 2011 “Thank You”
But ever since then the actress went missing from the silver screen.

The actress had also participated in the reality show Bigg Boss 9 and tried to enter ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9’ as a wild card entrant in 2016. However, Rini wasn’t selected. Since then, many went on to wonder why she has not been acting in movies anymore. The actress then eventually addressed the same.

In 2020, Rimi hit the headlines after being conned by a man who reportedly took
Rs 4 crore from her. This incident placed her in a quandary. The whopping amount meant a lot to her as it was her hard earned money after sweating it out for it.

Meanwhile, Rimi as of now is dealing with legal issues for being robbed off a big amount.

As per the actress, the man allegedly ensured her to return the money with high interest. But he seems to have vanished. A warrant will be issued against that the sccused for cognisable offence.

In an interview recently, Rimi when asked why she has not been working in movies. she articulated that she was tired of doing comedy films and had only furniture roles in them.

Rimi Sen has shared screen space with Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn in Thank You and Golmaal respectively.When asked if she’s in touch with any of them, the actress shared, “I am not. I can’t ask anyone for help. Jab tak gidgidao nahin,p help nahin milti hai. Why won’t other people look for their own benefit? Why will someone go out of their way to help someone?”

Rimi Sen further stated that the stakes are really high in the film industry, and talent comes later. A person must know how to handle people; otherwise, there will be no progress. Sen concluded that she didn’t know how to promote herself through PR.
