Singer Sunidhi Chauhan reacts to Sonakshi Sinha’s marriage to a Muslim Zaheer Iqbal

It’s a fact that most of the Hindu parents don’t look favourable of their son or daughter tying the knot to a person from the muslim community and disown them.

A recent case is of Bollywood’s most talented and sought after actress Sonakshi Sinha, daughter of Shatrughan and Poonam Sinha.
Even as Sonakshi headlined for choosing to marry her muslim beau Zaheer Iqbal and with Speculations turning rife of her parents not in favour of the intercaste marriage, the limelight has been moved to yet another popular Bollywood personality, Singer Sunidhi Chauhan, widely renowned for her talented voice. Sunidhi’s love story for marrying a muslim Bobby Khan , director and choreographer and which ended in divorce, also resurfaced because her family disowned her on grounds of Interfaith reasons.

With her incredible vocal abilities, the singer who embarked on her singer career when she was just four-years-old left no opportunity unexplored to win hearts. Over her career, Sunidhi has provided vocals for over 2000 songs in various languages, including Marathi, Punjabi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi.

Regardless of being praised for her career accomplishments, the singer’s personal life was not without its difficulties. At the young age of 18, her parents disowned her for marrying a Muslim boy, following her own intuition.

Coming to Sunidhi, at 19, she contributed playback vocals to over 300 songs and has been on tour for the past year, and fans have fallen in love with her worldwide.
