Maha CM Eknath Shinde actor Bobby Deol unveil ‘Dharmaveer 2’ poster
Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde and actor-turned producer Bobby Deol unveiled the poster of film ‘Dharmaveer 2’ in the presence of the film’s cast and crew.
The sequel follows the success of the previous title holder anxld aims to delve deeper into the life and legacy of the late Shiv Sena leader Anand Dighe.
The event witnessed the presence of key figures Prasad Oak, reprising his role as Anand Dighe, and director Pravin Tarde, who won acclaim for their work in the first instalment of the biographical drama.
Among the producers present were Mangesh Desai from Saahil Motion Arts and Umesh Bansal, Chief Business Officer of Zee.
Deol expressed his gratitude and excitement, with a remark remarking, that it’s an honour to be part of this celebration. The performance in the first part was commendable, and he congratulates CM Eknath Shinde on his two successful years in government.
CM Eknath Shinde commented, that “Anand Dighe was not just a leader but Guru and his life and contributions continue to inspire and feels proud to support this cinematic portrayal of his legacy.
The original Pravin Tarde’s directorial , was a commercial hit and garnered positive reviews for its authentic portrayal of Anand Dighe’s life.
The sequel ensures to explore new facets of Anand Dighe’s life and political journey, aiming to capture the essence of his impactful legacy. The team is all set for a theatrical release on August 9.
